FAQ

WHAT IS COMFORT CROWD MAGAZINE?

At Comfort Crowd Magazine, we celebrate music, both emerging and established artists, and empower creatives to connect through their shared love for it. We focus on concert photography, reviews, and music articles, covering everything from new releases to artist spotlights.

HOW CAN I JOIN THE TEAM?

If you’re an aspiring concert photographer or writer, we’d love to have you on board! Our goal is to give passionate creatives the platform to create, share, and grow. While we’re based in Switzerland, we welcome applications from all over the world. Experience isn’t a dealbreaker—our team thrives on learning from each other. We're not looking for perfect, because perfection is overrated (and a bit boring), so what matters to us is your unique perspective and creative process. That said, there are a few things we require. Below, you'll find the listed responsibilities and requirements:

PHOTOGRAPHERS

  • You shoot concerts and put together photo galleries—reviews are optional but definitely appreciated
  • You’ve got your own gear ready to go (smartphones, we love you, but this is not your time to shine)
  • You know your way around photo editing software
  • You’re cool with tight, sweaty venues
  • You're responsible for finding the PR contact for the shows you want to photograph so we can request a media pass for you

WRITERS

  • You write concert reviews and other music-related articles—think new releases, features, and opinion pieces
  • You’re open to exploring diverse music genres
  • You use your writing skills to give your articles personality (and you can string together sentences that don’t sound like a robot wrote them)
  • You do your research and know your stuff—whether it’s about the artist, the genre, or why the sound guy deserves a medal
  • You're responsible for finding the PR contact for the shows you want to review so we can request a media pass for you

PLEASE NOTE: Our work is entirely voluntary and unpaid, so we can't offer you a paycheck. What we do offer is a platform to showcase your creative work, gain well-deserved recognition, and continuously build your experience.

While we wish we could accept all applicants, it's not feasible. A diverse portfolio that reflects your creativity can help you stand out and increase your chances of being selected.
