From the depths of basement shows, house performances and the core of New Jersey, Nodding Off has become one of the top alternative bands in the scene. With Fern on rhythm guitar, Mars on bass and vocals, Joel on lead guitar and Joe on drums, the band stands complete and ready to amaze their ever-growing audience—now more than ever with the release of their latest single “Skyline.exe”.

The song kickstarts with an electrifying sound and, between voice recordings and guitar solos, builds up to a vibrant melody that gradually slows into a mellow tempo that wraps it all up. Although the track seems to be focused on the instrumental side, the vocals don’t fall short. Striking and emotional, Mars sings his heart out and gives the song a new overtone, turning it into a true masterpiece.
Nodding Off’s previous singles don’t lag behind. “NIGHTCRAWLER*” and “Spit” are not only their introduction to the public but also fan favorites. With over twenty-thousand listens on Spotify each, these songs have set a defining sound for this era of the band. They are accompanied by lyrics and music videos—both produced by Patryk Sikorski—which can be found on YouTube.
Nodding Off has shared the stage with many other alternative bands such as Slow Crush, Split Chain, All Under Heaven, MX Lonely and Trichor, and they are continually adding dates for upcoming shows—mostly in New York, Philadelphia, and, of course, New Jersey.
Previously known to be part of the band ‘Cloud NV’ they have been refining their craft since 2022. Now, with almost three thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, it seems they are ready to show a new face to the world and leave a bold mark on the music industry with their upcoming EP “FLOW STATE”. The record will feature the already released singles along with two new songs: “Mustang & Sally” and “LEAVE MY BODY”. It will be available on all streaming platforms on August 8th, 2025.
