Every time Only The Poets announce a show in Zurich, I have to be there. This was their third time headlining here, and the title of their song “Over & Over” couldn’t be more fitting—because every time, they absolutely kill it.

From the moment they stepped on stage, the energy was electric. The venue was packed, and the crowd didn’t hold back—screaming the lyrics, jumping in sync, fully lost in the music.
They’ve been releasing new music too. Their latest single, “I Keep On Messing It Up,” has lyrics that are, as they describe it, quite dark, but the tone is “bouncy and bright and it feels hopeful.” Tommy Longhurst, the lead singer, said: “The clue is in the title; there’s a bit of self-sabotage going on. I had another relationship end and I was just really looking back on patterns, and then I started delving into not just my relationships but my whole life” (via Clash Music). Safe to say, they didn’t mess anything up when it came to putting on a show.
They also announced their next single, “You Hate That I’m In Love,” which will be released on April 23rd and they teased that they’re working on an album.
