A year and a half after their musical debut, ROTOSCOPE made their comeback with the resounding EP Two Images. Featuring “Permanent Stuff,” “Jesse Sayner,” “Tokyo,” and “Vibe Martyr,” the record was released in September 2025 and quickly became a fan favorite due to its upbeat sound and vigorous melodic resonance. These four songs are meant to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home, in the car on your way to work, on a shared playlist with friends, or reverberating within the four walls of a basement—loud, thunderous, and energetic.
With Logan on bass, Nachi on guitar, Miranda on keyboards, Jack on vocals and guitar, and Alessandro behind the drums, the band is known for their incredible chemistry—not only among themselves, but also with their audience. They have been around since 2023, eventually releasing their first EP, ROTOSCOPE EP.
Two Images feels like an indie movie soundtrack: catchy and snappy. Their sound is sharp-edged, while Jack’s vocals are formidable and full of life. His technique mimics Bowie’s, with ’80s-infused singing and layered vocal effects. Although their songs are predominantly composed of darker energy, their performances are lively—characterized by a psychedelic sound and light show that drives the audience into a frenzy.
Vibrant, Two Images falls into the category of essential listening. The bass and electric guitar are especially remarkable on this record; however, the drums and keys tie the songs together perfectly. No matter the length of a track, every second seems carefully crafted to fall into its proper place. ROTOSCOPE has proven that creating music organically is the most effective way to build the perfect track.
As their catalog continues to grow, the band’s sound becomes even more promising. With multiple shows coming up—December 18 in Jersey City and January 17 in Hoboken—their highly anticipated album has yet to be announced. Still, word has it that it will be released sooner than expected, so be on the lookout for this exciting new chapter.
